HALOTM is a hybrid fractional resurfacing laser that can sequentially utilise two wavelengths in its delivery, non-ablative (1470nm) and ablative (2940nm) to the same microscopic treatment zone to maximise results and minimise downtime.

HALOTM is a hybrid fractional resurfacing laser that can sequentially utilise two wavelengths in its delivery, non-ablative (1470nm) and ablative (2940nm) to the same microscopic treatment zone to maximise results and minimise downtime. This means, it resurfaces the top layer of skin (epidermis) and the thick layer of tissue under the epidermis (dermis). HALOTM is able to resurface about 25-30% of the skin, while most others resurface about 5%..

HALOTM precisely targets areas of concern, including:

  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun damage
  • Visible signs of aging
  • Enlarged pores
  • Overall skin quality and texture

You will likely see the initial results between two and five days after your HALOTM treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most people see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months with an overall improvement in your skin, including a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduced pore size, improved skin reflectivity and glow, and significant removal of discoloration. HALOTM results will last for long-term, but you should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using UV sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Each additional HALOTM treatment you get will continue to improve the results.

HALOTM  (a hybrid fractional resurfacing laser) and BBL HEROic can be paired without additional downtime. Also achieving better results in the treatment of pigmentation, facial redness, and skin tone, along with results in Texture, pore size and general brightening of the skin. The devices, one being the latest in intense pulsed light therapy and the other the first of its kind hybrid fractional laser (ablative and non-ablative) stand on their own merits but used in combination they are the dream team of laser and light therapy technology.
